About Us

Thar Art Gallery was established in December 2007 on 10th Comm Lane, Zamzama. It takes pride in showcasing exclusively original works of prominent artists of Pakistan, mainly modern and contemporary masters. The first exhibition was the opening show of Ather Jamal’s watercolors, after which another show was held in 2009 which exhibited works of notable Pakistani artists, namely Rabia Zuberi, Tassaduq Sohail, Mashkur Raza, Naheed Raza, Wahab Jaffar, Hajra Mansur and Mansur Rahi.


Furthermore, Thar Art Gallery is working on exhibiting more diverse work in near future apart from paintings and sculpture. Thus it is amalgamating tradition with present and plans to showcase this fusion soon.
