J’adore Prêt is the brainchild of Nausheen Munib, a contemporary stylista; a young mother, busy professional, and a Law graduate from Queen Mary and Westfield in London. Nausheen grew up in the UK but stayed close to her country, Pakistan’s traditions, especially its penchant for bespoke tailoring. Using UK’s ready-to-wear-designs and the personalized clothes she made each time she travelled to Pakistan, Nausheen spent countless hours and uncompromising attention to detail in developing her own unique sense of personal style and in her dressmaking skills. Her worldly sensibility reverberated in the designs she made for herself and she was often admiringly told she had an amazing sense of putting together an outfit to create a certain” look.



Nausheen now brings this talent and expertise, juxtaposed with European élan and finesse to Pakistan, ostensibly bridging east and west with elegance and flair.



Nausheen identified a void in Pakistan’s retail climate and J’adore Prêt aims to fill that gap. Conceived as a luxury lifestyle store, Nausheen hopes that J’adore Prêt will one day soon become the Saks Fifth Avenue or Bloomingdales of Karachi. Rather than stocking myriad assorted designers of varying calibers, J’adore Prêt chooses to focus on quality over quantity. Nausheen wants J’adore Prêt to be a retail destination and haven where customers can browse through stunning collections from some of Pakistan’s most talented and upcoming designers.
