The Kidney Centre

Patients with kidney and related disorders can receive high-quality care at The Kidney Centre (TKC), a specialized non-profit hospital. In 1985, TKC first opened to the public with a modest dialysis facility that had just two machines. These days, TKC provides a wide spectrum of kidney transplant, urological, and nephrological services. It features more than 100 beds, a kidney transplant bay, modular operating rooms, and a critical care unit (with ventilators) for both children and adults.

Because kidney disease patients are more likely to develop other illnesses, the center also provides non-invasive cardiology and gastroenterology procedures with endoscopic capabilities. Nearly every specialty is covered by consulting clinics, including general surgery, neurology, diabetes, pediatrics, physiotherapy, nutrition, nephrology, urology, transplant, cardiology, haematology, pulmonology, and gastrointestinal.
